Nick Bosa of the San Francisco 49ers showed how the Philadelphia Eagles can be beaten, giving a big hand to the Dallas Cowboys in their Week 14 game against Jalen Hurts‘ team on Sunday, November 10.
The defensive end restricted the NFC East leaders to 19 points and in the process handed them their second loss of the season with a scoreline of 42-19 at the Lincoln Financial Field in Pennsylvania. The game had been highly anticipated as a contest between two of the best teams in the NFL and the Eagles will have no time to rest as they head straight for a divisional clash with the Cowboys.
The Texan outfit are now one win behind them with time running out to secure a postseason spot, making it a season-defining game if the Cowboys want to improve their chances of winning a Super Bowl and Bosa thinks the 49ers showed them how to beat the Eagles.
“We put the blueprint out there, hopefully Cowboys watch the tape”, Nick Bosa said. “We made Jalen stay in the pocket and escape outside instead of those big gaps and it paid off because Jalen is looking at the rush every play.
“So yeah, you just have to be disciplined, and not give him that quick escape route where he could get his guys quick.”
Hurts stats vs 49ers
The Eagles quarterback is one of the best players in his position in the sport and has posted impressive cumulative stats throughout 2023, throwing for 2995 yards, 19 touchdowns and allowing only 10 interceptions.
