BREAKING: Hogs’ Jefferson Injured on Big Gain, but Fumbles

You really hope Arkansas quarterback KJ Jefferson doesn’t see his career go down due to injury. Adding insult to that would be a lost fumble after a 22-yard gain.

In the first quarterback, he broke free on a long run to give the Razorbacks a jump-start in a game where they were struggling against Missouri, but he fumbled and had to be helped off the field with some sort of leg injury.

He emerged from the medical tent and walked unassisted to where a stationary bike was located and pedaled for a few minutes, then went back into the tent and now is on the sideline while the Tigers have jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the last game of the season before a small crowd at Razorback Stadium.

Jefferson after backup quarterback Jacolby Criswell had problems in a couple of drives started throwing on the sidelines and took off down the field running, apparently shaking off a lot of whatever happened. He is being monitored during the drills by the Hogs’ training and medical staff.
