AGREED DEAL:Nottingham Forest signed a Brazilian player for £18 million today, and he will join the forest right away.
Moreira at Lyon, Hakim Ziyech at Galatasaray, Kepa Arrizabalaga at Real Madrid and Romelu Lukaku at Roma. One of those loans could be ended to facilitate a temporary move abroad for Santos.
Santos signed for Chelsea from Brazilian side Vasco de Gama in January for around £18million ($22.8m), then rejoining them on loan in March.
He captained Brazil at the Under-20 World Cup earlier this year before returning to Chelsea and impressing during their U.S. pre-season tour. Pochettino named Santos on the bench for their opening-day draw against Liverpool but the Brazilian did not feature in either of the next two squads, before joining Forest on August 25.
Forest then signed two more central midfielders on permanent deals before the transfer window closed, with Ibrahima Sangare and Nicolas Dominguez arriving from PSV and Bologna respectively.
Forest are next in action on Saturday when they host Everton, while Chelsea welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
