Liverpool star Ryan Gravenberch has admitted he would love Jurgen Klopp to sign Arsenal ace Jurrien Timber. The Netherlands international would welcome linking up with the defender again at Anfield.

Both Gravenberch and Timber made the move to the Premier League in the summer transfer window. Arsenal made Timber one of their first signings, bringing him in from Ajax for a fee of up to £38million.
He had already suffered an anterior cruciate knee ligament injury before Gravenberch had signed for Liverpool. Timber sustained the devastating blow on his Premier League debut against Nottingham Forest.
Liverpool brought in Gravenberch on the final day of the summer window for around £34m as Klopp completed his midfield overhaul. He arrived from Bayern Munich, just a year after he left Ajax for Germany.
Gravernberch and Timber were close friends at Ajax, making the majority of their senior club appearances together. And when asked which Dutch compatriot he would like to join him at Liverpool, Gravenberch only had one answer.

He told Sky Sports’ Reddit AMA:
“I’ll probably pick one of my good friends, Jurrien Timber.
I’ve played with him all my life, he’s like a brother to me so that’s why I picked him.
“
Gravenberch and Timber won two Eredivisie titles together at Ajax, as well as the Dutch Cup in 2021.
But hopes of playing with him again at club level may have to wait.
Arsenal will not be willing to let Timber leave anytime soon.
The versatile defender made an impressive debut in pre-season, also in the Community Shield win over Manchester City.
Initial signs are very positive about Mikel Arteta’s ability to adapt to his playing style.
Arteta spoke about how impressed he was with Timber following the news of his serious injury.
