New Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch has spoken about settling into the club following his move from Bayern Munich.
The 21-year-old joins Jurgen Klopp’s side in a deal worth up to £38m after the German overhauled the Red Devils’ midfield during the transfer window.
Gravenberch has impressed Klopp and the fans since his arrival, with an impressive debut against LASK in the Europa League.
However, the Dutchman admits he has struggled with a problem since arriving at Anfield.
Gravenberch about his voice problem
Speaking in an interview with Saturday Social, Gravenberch admitted he still has difficulty understanding the Scouse accent.
“Honestly, when they talk, sometimes I have to think carefully to understand what they are saying.
“Maybe in a few weeks I’ll get used to it because it’s difficult.
My Scouse accent is fine, but maybe if I stay here long enough it will get better!
Gravenberch seems like a solid addition
It can be said that Gravenberch was in no rush to act, which was certainly the right decision by Klopp as he was not allowed to play for a long time.
As he accelerates and reaches top speed, it will be interesting to see how Gravenberch continues to perform for Liverpool.
£38 million may seem like a lot of money for a 21-year-old, but he could certainly become a world-class talent under Klopp’s watch.
