After learning about Thiago Silva’s rating for the brand-new EA FC 24 game, EA Sports has come under fire from him.
Although a substantial portion of the ratings had been leaked beforehand, EA has begun to formally release the figures in advance of the launch on September 29.
Fans and players alike have expressed outrage at some of the ratings given, as is the case every year.
Thiago Silva, a senior center back for Chelsea, has expressed his anger over his result. The 38-year-old and new captain Reece James each have an overall rating of 84, placing them joint-second for the Blues.
He is only two spots behind the player with the highest rating, Christopher Nkunku, who joined from RB Leipzig and was awarded an 86-rated card.
Silva did receive the score last year, but it was reduced by two, which he obviously objects to.
Given that some of his important numbers had increased, the Brazilian had expected that his rating would remain the same or even increase.
He told the Premier League’s official YouTube account, “They’re not watching football, they’re watching the games like this (with their eyes closed)”.
When asked about his strengths, he responded, “I think offensively I can clearly improve because I didn’t get a single goal last year.
Since I play solid defense, I believe I can enhance my attacking this year.
In the history of EA Sports football games, Silva received his best rating ever in FIFA 17 when he was rated a whopping 89 when playing for Paris Saint-Germain.
Many people believe that Chelsea’s ratings accurately reflect their current situation as a club in the wake of their disappointing 12th place finish last season. Chelsea’s ratings have already been making the rounds this month.
There have been quite a few downgrades overall, and the only players with ratings of 80 or higher are Nkunku, Silva, James, Enzo Fernandez, Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell, and Moises Caicedo.
A five-star rating for them would come as a big shock.
