Tennessee Titans head coach review things he will….
The Tennessee Titans have hired Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan as their next head coach.
Callahan, 39, has been in charge of the Bengals’ offense under Zac Taylor since 2019.
After a second interview with Tennessee on Monday, Callahan has since been unveiled, quoting Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp at his first press conference.
Callahan said: “There’s a quote from Jurgen Klopp. I didn’t want to rip it off and present it as my own. He’s a soccer coach at Liverpool and said at one point that when you agree on a common idea and work towards it together you can create something special.
“That’s what I believe in. That’s what we’ll do here. That, to me, is what this is all about and there is no ability to have success without those principles.”
In 2022, Cincinnati ranked eighth in total offense (360.5 yards per game) and seventh in scoring offense (26.1 ppg). The Bengals took a step back in 2023 as Joe Burrow suffered a season-ending wrist injury in November.
