That’s not an exaggeration – the Nashville area native has been the No. 1 prospect on Tennessee’s recruiting board for almost a year. The coaching staff has invested a lot of time and resources into him, and today is the day.
MacIntyre will announce his college commitment at 9:30 AM EST at Brentwood Academy. He’s deciding between Alabama and Tennessee, two storied SEC programs that compete against each other for national relevance. MacIntyre had a close relationship with Alabama head coach Nick Saban leading up to his decision, but Saban’s sudden retirement swung the momentum of this recruitment in the Vols’ favor.
