The Tennessee Vols have about 15 to 20 players that could return for a super senior season in 2024.
One of those players is senior offensive lineman Cooper Mays, who was a true freshman during the COVID-shortened season in 2020, which means he has one year of eligibility remaining.
Mays is an extremely important part of the Vols’ offense. His ability to communicate within the structure of Tennessee’s unique up-tempo offense is something the Vols missed when he has out during the first month of the 2023 season.
