Browns is in trouble as Joe Flacco announced his resignation after facing..
The Cleveland Browns have seemingly found a replacement for injured quarterback Deshaun Watson. Joe Flacco is that man and it seems the veteran signal-caller is worth the spot given his recent performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Last Sunday, the Cleveland Browns (8-5) were in need of a win, and quarterback Joe Flacco obliged. Throwing for 311 yards and three touchdowns in the Browns’ 31-27, the 38-year-old made a convincing claim for the starting spot and now it seems the Browns have answered his call. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Flacco signed a one-year deal on Thursday, which includes $4.05 million in incentives based on wins.Â
Of course, Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski had already alluded to the move after Sunday’s game,
when he stated that Flacco would remain the team’s starter.
