Isaiah Bond said Friday at the NFL Scouting Combine he has “all love” for Alabama after spending 2 seasons in Tuscaloosa.
The 5-foot-11 wide receiver is at the Combine in Indianapolis representing Texas. Last offseason, Bond left the Crimson Tide when Nick Saban retired and joined the Longhorns. He told reporters on Friday he only spoke to Texas when he entered the transfer portal and committed to UT coach Steve Sarkisian on the first day of his visit.
It’s all love for Alabama. At the end of the day, I was there for 2 years, I fought with my brothers,” Bond said. “I went there for Coach Saban. I have a lot of respect and love for that guy. Going to Texas, it was just the next step. I had a great experience there.”
