Stop me if you’ve heard this before, maybe as recently as a couple of hours prior to this article when you were told the WWE was expected to sign Hikuleo, but there’s at least a solid possibility they add more talent from The Bloodline family tree and, this time, it would be of the female variety — namely The Tonga Twins.
Having split from WOW (Women of Wrestling) in very public fashion, the duo was recently spotted at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando taking in the sights.
This, of course, doesn’t guarantee they’ll join the promotion but the bread crumbs are more the size of actual loaves at this point, all things considered with The Bloodline storyline that includes the 2024 additions of Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu (the debut and arc of Hikuleo still TBD at this time).
It stands to reason that, with the Civil War speeding toward the faction, and Roman Reigns’ return (and The Rock’s) on the horizon at some point, that the WWE would consider adding the Tonga Twins to the mix and, making it that much more interesting, they’d be the first-ever members of any iteration of the faction.
That is unless Naomi, wife of Jimmy Uso, gets involved.
The Twins performed previously in AEW in 2021 before heading to WOW, where they remained until 2024, and their departure was tagged negatively, according to Ringside News.
The statement ended with two choice words for the WOW promotion, and the first started with the letter F and rhymes with the word “truck”. You can surmise the rest from that hint.
This story is definitely one to keep an eye on ahead of Summerslam and beyond, ahead of Survivor Series and into the Royal Rumble on the road to Wrestlemania 41.
