James Tedesco and Daly Cherry-Evans, two prominent NRL players, have expressed their willingness to conclude their careers in the United States, given the establishment of a professional league.
‘DCE’, who made his first grade debut in 2011 at Manly where he won a premiership, is one of the company owners eager to establish an American professional league, according to Sea Eagles owner Scott Penn.
Speaking in Las Vegas ahead of this Sunday AEDT’s NRL double header between Tedesco’s Roosters, Cherry-Evans’ Sea Eagles, and the Broncos and Rabbitohs, the veteran halfback is accepting offers.
“I’m happy to get it rolling if Scott wants to,” the 35-year-old remarked. It goes without saying that I don’t have much time left in my rugby league career.
Regarding contracts and the future of my work, I’m pretty flexible.
So, we’ll observe our progress. However, it’s good to see our club’s owner advocating for an opportunity in America. And I find the transition there to be simple.
Tedesco, who is 31 years old, may not have as much experience as the distinguished Sea Eagles captain, but the Roosters captain believes that living in America is a compelling opportunity.
