This weekend, the internet went crazy over a coincidental meeting between Joe Burrow, Nick Bosa, and Donald Trump.
On Saturday, the former president, Burrow, and Bosa posed for a photo at UFC 299 in Miami, where Sean O’Malley and Marlon Vera faced off. In a video posted on X, the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback was seen briefly chatting with Bosa and Trump.
Bosa plays defensive end for the San Francisco 49ers. He made his NFL debut for the team in 2019.
How does Nick Bosa know Joe Burrow?
Bosa attended Ohio State University, where he played football for three seasons with Burrow. Bosa played for the college from 2016 to 2018, while Burrow played from 2015 to 2017.
Prior to being chosen into the NFL, Bosa made multiple postings on X, formerly known as Twitter, applauding then-President Trump.
In a removed 2018 post, he referred to Trump and Ronald Reagan as “GOATs.”
Bosa also labeled former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick a “clown” on social media.
He then deleted some posts and reduced his political commentary, telling ESPN that he “might end up in San Francisco.”
