NEW YORK— Xavier Tillman has only been officially active with the Celtics for two games, so the big man will need some time to adjust to his new squad. The Celtics have been fully healthy in their two games since the All-Star break, so there haven’t been many minutes available thus far.
Tillman did made his C’s debut in Thursday’s blowout victory over the Bulls, scoring a basket. Otherwise, the huge man will drink up as much behind-the-scenes information as possible. Following the Knicks’ victory, veteran big man Al Horford stated that Tillman is already doing everything correctly.
