Oklahoma has the most famous third-string quarterback in college football. Though he’s yet to throw a pass for the Sooners, plenty of fans are familiar with the man who wears No. 14, solely because of his name: General Booty.
Booty, a redshirt sophomore, likely won’t see that much playing time this season as he sits behind Dillon Gabriel and Davis Beville on the depth chart, but he’s still got a substantial social media following, and he’s parlaying that notoriety into NIL deals. He’s already put his name on a skin cream and shirts with phrases like “Booty Call” and “I (Love) Booty.”
But his newest NIL deal is his best yet. Booty is now putting his name on underwear—literally. He announced a deal with Rock ‘Em Socks on Wednesday to produce branded socks and underwear, complete with boxer briefs that say “Booty” across the back.
It’s incredible that it took Booty this long to land an underwear sponsorship. Isn’t that the first thing companies should have been pitching him on when he committed to OU? Finally, that terrible oversight has been rectified.

OU football’s General Booty announces underwear line via new NIL deal with Rock ‘Em Socks
NORMAN — OU reserve quarterback General Booty has, unquestionably, one of the best names in college sports.
And Booty has leaned into his unique name repeatedly, using NIL deals to sell shirts with “Booty Call,” “I (heart) Booty,” and “General Booty Reporting for Duty,” on them heading into last season. Booty even donated a portion of those proceeds to the Oklahoma Children’s Hospital.
Now, Booty is taking it up a notch.
The redshirt sophomore from Allen, Texas, revealed Wednesday an underwear and sock line by Rock ’Em Socks.
The crimson boxer briefs have “BOOTY” written across the, well, booty of the underwear with the OU logo on the front of one leg and Booty’s logo on the other.
The other underwear design is covered in peaches.
There’s also peach-covered socks as well as ones with Booty’s face and number.
The underwear are available for $27.99 while the socks are $21.99.
