A few days ago, we addressed in depth the Dallas Cowboys’ philosophy when it comes to overpaying standout-but-aging running backs.
They didn’t do it with NFL rushing champ DeMarco Murray.
They didn’t do it with NFL rushing champ Ezekiel Elliott.
And here’s a heads-up: They’re not going to do it with Raheem Mostert, who at age 31 might very well become the 2023 NFL rushing champ as he stars for the Miami Dolphins … who just happen to play host to Dallas this Sunday in NFL Week 16 on Christmas Eve.
