Sanders weighed in on Sports Illustrated’s iteration of this debate.
When it came to football IQ, he chose himself, and he also backed himself over anyone else when it comes to toughness and competitiveness.
Sanders’ praise for Brady and Vick
In terms of accuracy though, he could not look beyond NFL legend Tom Brady, whilst he also chose Mike Vick for speed rather than himself.
When asked about arm strength, Sanders said, “That honestly doesn’t matter, just depends on the precision and the accuracy.
“I mean, I’m not out here throwing the ball 90 yards, but I can get it to where I need to.”
Speaking in an interview recently, Sanders talked about what players he looks up to the most and his answer is in line with his ideal quarterback description.
“Well, I’ll say it’s a mixture because I’m able to stay in the pocket and deliver the ball. I can play like [Tom] Brady, but I’m also able to extend plays, and if it’s not there, take it like [Michael] Vick,” Sanders said in an interview with Complex.
