Tyreek Hill’s announcement that he is leaving the Miami Dolphins now presents another significant issue for the team.
With Tyreek Hill on pace to make history, teammate Jaylen Waddle breaks a record of his own
The Miami Dolphins wide receiver duo has been unfathomably good since Hill joined in 2022.

One of the biggest storylines of the 2023 NFL season has been the campaign Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is putting together. With another 100 yard game on Black Friday, Hill kept his chances for a 2,000 yard receiving season very much alive.
The 29-year-old is currently on pace to get to 2,046 yards, which would break the single-season receiving record set by Calvin Johnson (in 16 games) in 2012. The final four games are tough in terms of defenses Hill must face, but he gets two of the worst secondaries in the league over the next two weeks (Washington Commanders and Tennessee Titans).
Jaylen Waddle makes history alongside Tyreek Hill
While Hill is having a historic season to this point, running mate Jaylen Waddle has fallen a bit by the wayside. He’s been relatively productive, but he hasn’t been the same dominant force he consistently showed he can be last season.
But with a 114-yard performance against the New York Jets on Friday, Waddle made some franchise history.
Waddle passed Jarvis Landry for the mark, who had passed the great Chris Chambers back in 2016. Waddle still has plenty of games to add to that tally as well.
With Waddle finally healthy and fully reincorporated into the offense, Tua Tagovailoa should have no issues splitting defenses open as Miami makes a serious push to end up as the AFC’s top seed.
