Fans all say the same thing as Grealish has ‘beautiful’ moment with Man Utd fan
Fans are all saying the same thing online after Manchester City’s Jack Grealish shared a ‘beautiful’ moment with a Manchester United fan after seeing England beat Malta.
The 28-year-old took time out as he passed through the mixed zone at Wembley after their Euro 2024 qualifier to speak with the supporter. Grealish had been an unused substitute by manager Gareth Southgate as the Three Lions won their final fixture at home this year 2-0.
Grealish did not let his disappointment at not featuring stop him from being a truly class act at full-time, though. Footage has emerged on social media of the Manchester City maestro stopping to speak to Tom Horn, a disabled journalism student and England fan at the match.

The footage shows Grealish discussing Manchester City’s 3-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford earlier this month. A brace by Erling Haaland (26’ [p], 49’) and a late strike by Phil Foden (80’) settled the Manchester derby. Grealish got 87 minutes under Pep Guardiola.
Grealish also thanked Horn after the Manchester United supporter praised his talents on the ball before posing for a photo. Hayters TV reporter James St Dennis also captured the chat in the mixed zone at Wembley between Horn and a player Manchester City paid £100m for.
