After admitting he wanted to join a big club believed to be Liverpool during the summer transfer window, Fluminense midfielder Andre Trindade is said to have “verbally agreed personal terms” with the Red Devils.
The Brazilian has been at the center of Jurgen Klopp’s search for a new defensive midfielder since the summer, but now the 22-year-old appears to be closer than ever to a move to Anfield.
Fabinho, who left to join Al-Ittihad this summer, is yet to be replaced by Alexis Mac Allister, who acts as a temporary solution for the club who are facing a shortage of managers professional practice in the number 6 role.
Many names have been linked with Liverpool but Andre seems the surest choice to join the club in January.
A recent interview revealed that Andre wants to join Join Liverpool this summer.
It is widely reported that Fluminense have blocked Andre’s move to Liverpool, but he will be open for business in the January transfer window once the season ends.

Speaking to CONMEBOL Libertadores, via the Mirror, Andre finally revealed what transpired in the summer amid interest from Liverpool.
He said: “In this past window I didn’t talk about [a transfer exit], the first time I’m going to talk in more depth will be now.
It really was an irrefutable proposal from the club that plays in a big league.
“I think every player dreams of one day playing for a big club in Europe, in a big championship.
But I decided to keep my word because when the January transfer window closed, [Fernando] Diniz (Fluminense coach) came and told me he wanted me here until the end of the year.
We didn’t know there would be an offer for that amount of money and I told him that no matter what happened, I would be there until the end of the season.
Midway through the year, we were still in the round of 16 of the Copa Libertadores, it was a very difficult decision.
I think if I accept this proposal, I don’t know if I will feel 100% comfortable because I already said yes to Diniz.
“He really values his words, his honesty.
I know that when we do the right things, good things will always happen.
And in January, he told me that there is no doubt that if I stay, I will play and my value will increase.
” Well, maybe it won’t be long before he gets his wish if the recent statement is true.
Liverpool are said to have reached personal terms with Andre According to François Plateau, Liverpool have reached a verbal agreement on a contract with Andre, although he claims that “nothing has been signed yet” and the Other clubs are also contacting Fluminense.

Arsenal are among the teams interested in signing Andre, as are Anfield Central made the news recently, with the Gunners’ sporting director visiting Fluminense, along with other Brazilian clubs, during a recent visit to his homeland.
Whoever signs Andre will have to spend around €40m (£35m), although Arsenal interests could increase Fluminense’s asking price if they believe they can get more for sold him in the midst of competition for his signature from two big clubs in the Premier League.
