According to the DAILY POST, Jerome Akor has been named Montpellier Player of the Month for October.
In three league appearances for La Paillade this month, the 23-year-old scored four goals.
Akor won the award ahead of Joris Chotard and Mousa Tamari.
This season, the Nigerian striker has seven goals in nine league games for Montpellier.
Last weekend, the forward scored twice in Montpellier’s 3-0 win over Toulouse.
In the summer, he joined Montpellier from Lillestrom in Norway.
He has previously represented Nigeria at the U-20 level.
