Damian Lillard, a recent recruit to the Milwaukee Bucks, is currently dealing with a lot of drama in his personal life, in case you missed it. Seven-time All-Star Kay’La Lillard, with whom he is estranged, has replied by requesting full custody of their three children in response to the divorce petition the seven-time All-Star filed against her.
You could say that the divorce process is becoming unpleasant at this point.

Lillard’s net worth is currently projected to be $100 million, according to reports. The former star point guard for the Portland Trail Blazers accumulated that hard-earned wealth after solidifying his position as one of the best point guards of his generation.

However, given the probable financial repercussions of his divorce, that fortune might now be in jeopardy. The good news for Lillard is that he took the necessary precautions. Five days before his wedding, Dame reportedly signed a prenuptial agreement, according to a story by Radar’s Whitney Vasquez.
According to the paperwork, Dame and Kay’La must divide the costs of raising their three children:
“Each party should be required to pay an appropriate share, as determined by the Premarital Agreement, of all uninsured and uncovered medical, psychological, psychiatric, counseling, hospital, prescription, optical, dental, and orthodontic expenses of the parties’ children for so long as a support obligation exists for the benefit of the children,” the filing reads.
It’s not like Lillard saw this coming, but he just made sure to prepare for any and all circumstances. Right now, I’m pretty sure he’s glad he got that prenup. The documents also clearly state that “the parties have an interest in real and personal property, which should be justly and properly divided between them by the court in accordance with the terms of the Premarital Agreement.”
