Man Utd have announced that Antony is eligible for selection after a police probe.
Following a police investigation into claims of physical assault against his ex-partner, Manchester United winger Antony is available for selection for tomorrow’s Premier League matchup with Crystal Palace. Since the end of the September international break, the Brazilian had remained in his own nation; however, he is now back at the club’s Carrington training facility.
Allegations of physical violence against Antony’s former partner Gabriela Cavallin have been made. He has refuted each of these allegations as well as the assault claims made by two additional women, Rayssa de Freitas and Ingrid Lana.
On Thursday, Antony arrived back in the UK and was interviewed by Greater Manchester Police. He continued to be on leave until Friday.
The 23-year-old has rejoined the team, and United has officially announced that he will be eligible for Saturday’s game against Palace. Police are still looking into the matter.
