Summer signing for Arsenal Kai Havertz hasn’t exactly gotten off to a fast start since moving to the Emirates.
Rene Adler, a commentator for Sky Sport Germany, thinks the 24-year-old will quickly settle comfortably at Arsenal.
Havertz allegedly paid £65 million to join the Gunners from Chelsea in June.
After an essentially unsuccessful tenure at Stamford Bridge, the Germany international joined Arsenal.
As part of a revamped lineup at N5, Arteta has moved Havertz back into a more natural midfield position.
He hasn’t started yet for the Gunners, though. He hasn’t had spectacular early-season performances.
Arteta and Edu’s choice to bring him to Arsenal has drawn criticism and doubt as a result.
It “Fits Arsenal”
Adler emphasizes that Havertz needs to adjust to his new club and that it is far too early to write him off.
In his Sky Sport column, he stated that Kai Havertz “will also be up and running soon.”
“Even though he’s still struggling a little to get going and hasn’t yet scored his first goal. Don’t stress over it, devoted Arsenal supporters.
Even though he still resides in the same city, the environment at the Gunners is different, as are the mechanisms, expectations, and system.
The fact that it takes some time to get there is very natural.
He was frequently lined up as a number nine when at Chelsea FC but is now unexpectedly playing in the eight position once more.
“Whether the former Leverkusen star finally possesses the talent and winning mindset to lead Arsenal to their first championship since 2004 remains to be seen.
But I’m totally at ease. Havertz is a smart player who belongs in Arsenal 1A. Be a little more patient.
In our opinion
The Premier League has long been regarded as one of the top leagues in the world, and in recent years, the standards have only increased.
While this is fantastic for the kind of football we see, it also means that well-known players may face criticism if they don’t make an immediate impact.
Undoubtedly, we’ve seen a handful of guys perform well right away after relocating. Consider Dominik Szoboszlai or Declan Rice, both of whom play for Liverpool.
Erling Haaland excelled during his time at Manchester City last season, starting strong.
Despite how much we’d like it, not every player will have such a significant immediate influence.
Havertz was one of the most promising young players in international football when he joined the Premier League.
Although his plans haven’t completely materialized, he has the talent. It only remains to acclimate him to life at Arsenal.
In addition, the Gunners have performed admirably in recent years in terms of modest but steady progress.
The team itself has required some time to recover from its slump and become a title contender.
And it took William Saliba a while to advance to the level of player he is now.
